Nach der betroffenen Region werden die "Sonstigen Enthesopathien" wie folgt eingeteilt:
- Epicondylitis ulnaris humeri (ICD-10-GM M77.0; Golferellenbogen)
- Epicondylitis radialis humeri (ICD-10-GM M77.1; Tennisellenbogen)
- Periarthritis im Bereich des Handgelenkes (ICD-10-GM M77.2)
- Kalkaneussporn (ICD-10-GM M77.3) – dabei handelt es sich um einen Knochenauswuchs im Bereich der Achillessehne
- Metatarsalgie (ICD-10-GM M77.4; Mittelfußschmerz)
- Sonstige Enthesopathie des Fußes (ICD-10-GM M77.5)
- Sonstige Enthesopathie, anderenorts nicht klassifiziert (ICD-10-GM M77.8)
- Enthesopathie, nicht näher bezeichnet (ICD-10-GM M77.9) – beinhaltet unter anderem die Kapsulitis, den Knochensporn, Tendinitis (Sehnenentzündung) oder die Periarthritis ohne nähere Angaben
Verlauf und Prognose: Die Therapie ist abhängig von der Lokalisation und der Schwere der Enthesopathie. Bleibt die Erkrankung unbehandelt, kann es zu einem wesentlichen Funktionsausfall der betroffenen Extremität kommen.
